Our Beginning
Fresh Tails was established in 2022 as a heartfelt act of kindness over Valentine’s Day weekend. Founded by a single mom and her teenage son, Mason. Our journey began with a simple mission: to bring neighbors together and uplift our community after COVID-19. Mason inspired his high school friends to join, united by a shared love for animals.
The Heartbeat of Fresh Tails: Big Keith
We started by bathing dogs under a tent, but our story changed when a generous client donated a van—now known as “Big Keith.” With its large windows and welcoming seating area, Big Keith invites pet owners to join the grooming session, learn, and connect. Our van is a familiar sight in the community, spreading joy with playful bubbles and open doors.
Empowering the Next Generation
We’re passionate about giving back. Fresh Tails provides local teenagers with opportunities to explore animal sciences, gain hands-on experience, and earn while doing what they love. We help future animal care professionals get their start.
